The Biltong Project update 1

So tonight (Tuesday) the first big piece was ready. Only three days, which is surprising in this cold, wet London weather. This was the regular flavoured one, not the peri-peri or garlic flavour. The verdict: 100% biltong! Nice and soft inside, nice and hard and spicy on the outside.
It feels like a coming-of-age moment for this South African boy, having made my own biltong for the first time. Next one coming soon!
